Venus Williams and Andrea Preti were first linked in July 2024
The tennis star confirmed her engagement to the actor and model a year later

Tennis legend Venus Williams and actor Andrea Preti are officially husband and wife.
The multi-Grand Slam champion has been linked to the actor since July 2024. After months of engagement rumors swirling, Williams confirmed their engagement during a post-match interview in July 2025.
"My fiancé is here, and he really encouraged me to keep playing," Williams said. "He’s never seen me play."
Just two months later, they got married on Sept. 18, 2025, in Ischia, Italy.
"We had this dream to do our wedding in Italy, but we didn’t have enough time to do the paperwork — because I’m a foreigner, it can take about eight months," she told Vogue in December 2025.
The couple decided to have a second wedding, marking the occasion again in a Florida ceremony that December.

Preti was born in 1988 in Denmark and spent most of his childhood there before moving to Italy with his family as a teenager. In May 2024, he shared photos from a trip to Copenhagen on Instagram and wrote that he was back in his "homeland."
"No one can understand how much I missed you Chris," he captioned the post, which included a photo with his brother. "And how much I miss being here."
Preti added, "Best time ever ❤️🙏🏻."
He is an actor and producer

While he spent many years as a model, Preti has since built a career for himself as both an actor and producer. After studying acting at the Susan Batson Academy in New York City, per his IMDb bio, Preti landed roles in television, film and commercials.
He wrote, acted in and directed 2014's One More Day, while also appearing in the Italian television series A Professor. More recently, he starred in 2023's Temptation and was a contestant on the Italian reality show La Talpa.

Williams and Preti were first linked in July 2024, when they were spotted boating together in Nerano, Italy, along the Amalfi Coast.
Since then, the pair have remained mostly private about their relationship, though they were seen together again in January 2025. That same month, Williams posted a selfie of her and Preti vacationing in the Bahamas on her Instagram Stories, calling her now-husband "the best company."

Williams and Preti first sparked engagement rumors in February 2025 when the tennis star was spotted wearing a diamond ring in Rome. Weeks later, she donned the sparkler at the Dsquared2 Fall/Winter 2025 fashion show at Milan Fashion Week.
Williams confirmed that Preti was her fiancé six months later, following a tennis match in Washington, D.C.
"You are now an engaged woman. So, how has Andrea helped you in this comeback? You’re happy, a smile on your face. I mean, how much has he made a difference in your life?" Grand Slam winner Rennae Stubbs asked Williams in a post-match interview.
She replied, "There were so many times where I just wanted to coast and kind of chill. Do you know how hard it is to play tennis? He encouraged me to get through this, and it’s wonderful to be here."
Williams' sister, Serena Williams, confirmed that her bachelorette party took place during an August 2025 appearance on Today. At the time, Serena added that the sisters were still "planning lots of different parties and events.”
“It’s actually overwhelming, and I told Venus yesterday, ‘One more thing that you want me to do and I’m done. That’s it,’ “ she said.
Williams later told Vogue that they had gotten engaged on Jan. 31.

After tying the knot in Italy in September 2025, Williams and Preti held a second wedding in Palm Beach, Fla. According to Vogue, the location was chosen because of Williams' "Florida roots."
The celebration included a week full of festivities leading up to the big day, including a yacht day, bridal shower and romantic dinner. They ultimately got married in a courthouse wedding on Dec. 19.
"For me, the courthouse ceremony was very unique, emotional, and deep," Preti told the outlet, adding that "it was the second-best day" of his life, after the wedding itself.
