Coming out of Christmas atop the English Premier League for the third time in four seasons, Arsenal hosts Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, Dec. 27 in a crucial clash at the Emirates Stadium

Arsenal have won three matches in a row but failed to score from open play in those games, managing just a penalty and three own-goals. The Gunners are coming off a roller-coaster victory over Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, advancing to the semifinals 8-7 on penalty kicks after giving up an equalizer in stoppage time.

"The margins should have been bigger and we will work on that," Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta told reporters.

Brighton is winless in four December matches, losing two with two draws – including a 0-0 stalemate with Sunderland last time out.
